So, you have WordPress installed, you’ve discovered themes and you’re loving having the flexibility to find a new theme and switch it out at a moments notice, you may have even taken on a few clients, setting them up with WordPress, installing a theme and editing their content.
But what if you want to take things further, what if you want to start customising your themes? How do you get from installing and setting up sites to making them your own?
This talk will take you through the ground work. We’ll look at where to go to find help understanding the basics of HTML and CSS, we’ll look at some of the tools you can install on your desktop to make the development process easier and finally, we’ll look at some of the themes and frameworks available to get you on the customisation road a little faster.
