Dee Teal – “The Web Princess”

Dee is a WordPress web developer, community organiser, trainer, blogger and all round WordPress enthusiast who is passionate about imparting that same enthusiasm to community members, clients and trainees. She graduated from USYD with a Masters Degree in Digital Communication and Culture and has been working with WordPress full time since 2009 (and with other web technologies for some time before that). Gary Pendergast

Gary is a WordPress, web and music geek who writes poetry with Automattic. He can be observed in his natural habitat at pento.net, or usually in Melbourne, Australia.

Joanne Dillon

During business hours Joanne Dillon (aka JD) is the Digital Services Lead at Te Takere in Levin. The rest of the time she is playing with WordPress for her own entertainment or for clients of her company Weaving the Web.

Luke Carbis

Luke is from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, and works as a WordPress developer at X-Team, a WordPress.com VIP partner, working full time with the Stream plugin team. Prior to this, Luke ran an e-commerce plugin development business exclusively using WordPress. He has facilitated numerous WordPress short courses for the State Library of Queensland, and attended WordCamps around the world. He enjoys analog photography, board games, and writing clean WordPress code.

Niq Curry

A self-confessed geek in stilettos, with a wardrobe full of digital hats – web designer, social media strategist, digital marketer. She’s worked on everything from celebrity fashion e-tailers to sports wagering sites and now has a freelance branding design agency cheapthrillsdesign.co.nz (where virtually all things website are WordPress!).

In her spare time you’ll find her studying towards Information Science Degree, plotting away on a new start-up or working on her blog NiqCurry.com which gives entrepreneurially minded women informative advice on launching successful businesses using the digital space.

Toni Barrett

Toni hates job titles as hers is constantly changing. In previous lives, she was a Test Analyst, a .NET Support Developer, a UI Designer and most recently, a Front-end UI Developer.

Today, she is all of the above as the owner of Beauty Bliss – an online store setting cosmetics to New Zealand women.
